These Terms & Conditions explain the rules for using the Discover Your Possibilities (DYP) Cambodia website and making one-time online donations to support our programs.

DYP aims to provide a respectful, inclusive, and transparent online experience. These Terms clarify acceptable use of our website and set expectations for visitors and donors who choose to support our work through one-time online donations.

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Discover Your Possibilities (DYP) Cambodia website (the “Website”), and any one-time donations made through our online donation tools.

By accessing the Website or making a donation, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

Key Definitions

• “DYP”, “we”, “us” means Discover Your Possibilities (DYP) Cambodia.
• “You” means any person using this Website or making a donation.
• “Donation” means a voluntary one-time financial contribution made through our authorized payment providers.

2. About DYP

Discover Your Possibilities (DYP) is a Cambodian non-governmental organization supporting people with visual impairments through education, vocational training, research, and direct assistance programs.

DYP is registered with the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Our principal office is located in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

3. Website Use

When using our Website, you agree:

• To use the Website in a lawful and respectful manner
• Not to attempt to interfere with Website security, availability, or functionality
• Not to misuse forms, content, or contact channels (including spam or harmful content)
• Not to attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data

Age requirement: You must be at least 18 years of age to make a donation through this Website. If you are under 18, donations may only be made with the consent and involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

We may restrict access to the Website if misuse or security risks are detected.

4. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all content on this Website (including text, photos, logos, graphics, and design elements) is owned by DYP or used with permission.

You may view and share Website content for personal and non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify content for commercial use without prior written permission from DYP.

5. Donations

One-time donations only: DYP currently accepts one-time donations (not recurring donations).

Donations are voluntary. You may choose to donate to a specific project or select general support. Donation amounts are open, you choose how much you wish to give.

Online payments are processed securely through authorized third-party providers such as ABA PayWay (via WooCommerce) or other approved gateways as listed on the donation page at the time of transaction. DYP does not store your full card or banking details.

6. Use of Donations

DYP offers two types of donation options:

A. Specific Program Donations

You may choose to donate to a specific program or project as listed on our donation page at the time of giving. Your donation will go to your chosen program. Within that program, funds are allocated where they are needed most. The list of available programs may be updated from time to time as DYP’s work develops.

B. General Donation

If you do not select a specific program, or choose the “General Donation” option, DYP will allocate your contribution to the area of greatest need across our programs at the time. This gives DYP the flexibility to respond to the most urgent priorities.

All donations are used responsibly and transparently to advance DYP’s mission of supporting people with visual impairments in Cambodia.

7. Refund Policy

Donations are generally non-refundable because they are voluntary contributions to support our charitable work.

However, refunds may be considered in cases of clear transaction error, including:

• Accidental duplicate donation
• Incorrect donation amount entered
• Technical payment processing error

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the original transaction date.

To request a refund, please provide:

• Full name
• Date of donation
• Donation amount
• Transaction reference number (if available)
• Explanation of the error

If approved, refunds will be processed through the original payment method. Processing times depend on the payment provider. DYP reserves the right to decline refund requests that do not meet the conditions above.

8. No Warranties

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Website accurate, secure, and available. However, the Website is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that all information is complete or current.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Cambodian law, DYP is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of the Website or donation platform. Where liability cannot be excluded, DYP’s liability is limited to the amount donated.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Website after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance.
