Collaboration with EHT

DYP partners with EHT Paul Dubrule to help students with visual impairments learn practical kitchen skills and hospitality. Through baking and cooking workshops, students build confidence, independence, and a stronger path toward future work.

About the Collaboration

This collaboration is a joint effort between Discover Your Possibilities (DYP) and École d’Hôtellerie et de Tourisme Paul Dubrule (EHT). It started as a pilot collaboration (agreement in 2023) to bring high-quality hospitality training to underprivileged students, including students who are blind or have low vision.

The focus is simple: help students gain skills they can use at home, in training, and later in work life. With the right support and respectful teaching, students can learn safely and progress step by step.

How the partnership works

  • EHT provides workshops and professional training support.
  • DYP provides staff assistance during activities and coordinates student support.
  • DYP shares student information (including visual level) before sessions.
  • After sessions, feedback helps improve the next workshop (person-centered planning).

Participation: There is currently no online application. Participation is coordinated through DYP and EHT based on student needs and workshop schedules.
