Sreyvat is pursuing a law degree while strengthening assistive technology, English, orientation and mobility, and practical independent living skills for her future career.
Higher Education
Sponsorship contributes to shared housing, daily living, university transport, accessible study, and regular DYP follow-up during the project year.
After completing Grade 12, Sreyvat continued into higher education and is now studying law. Her education reflects sustained commitment, patience and a strong belief in the value of learning.
Alongside her university studies, she continues developing English, assistive technology, Braille literacy, orientation and mobility, and the practical skills needed to manage daily life with greater confidence.
During the Semi-Independent Living Project year, Sreyvat’s primary focus remains her law studies. She will also take greater responsibility for study planning, transport, budgeting, shared household duties and everyday decisions while remaining connected to regular DYP guidance and follow-up.
“To me, true independence is having the ability to live, learn, communicate, and earn a livelihood on my own terms.”Sreyvat
Her current pathway combines university law studies with accessible technology, communication, mobility and the everyday organisation needed to continue education and prepare for professional work.

Using accessible digital tools to study, organise information, communicate and complete university work more independently.
Strengthening English and clear communication for higher education, professional settings and community participation.
Practising safe travel, time management, budgeting, shared household responsibilities and confident everyday decision-making.
